     For our EOTO project we selected 6 different technologies and did some research on them. They were the first TV, Cable TV, the first email, camera phones, Twitter and Instagram. I took on the task to do my research on Instagram. I use instagram daily so I thought it would be fun to do some research on it. I didn't know the reason for it, who made it and why so I decided that would be fun on my part to do.      Instagram is basically an app that allows users to share photos and videos, add captions, edit filters, interact with others, explore other profiles and so much more. It began its development in 2011 in San Francisco. Instagram was founded by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. An interesting fact is that Systrom was actually the first person to post a picture on Instagram. It was a picture of himself at a taco stand in Todos Santos.      I found these websites to be very interesting because I have never seen anything like it. They list news, spotlights, blogs, viewpoints and more. I wonder why I have never came across these websites before because they contain information that I know many people would be interested in reading. On one website you have the option to select a country and find lots of news articles on antiwar news. These people behind the websites seem to have very strong views on it and are doing this to spread awareness. I believe these websites should be more well known because they hold information that is very important.      I think I have never heard of this website because the news and other outlets do not care what the public has to say, especially if it is someone who doesn't have a heavy influence on people.      As we know, when you create a new social media account they ask for so much information. The main thing they ask for is you number. If you choose to give it to the platform then you are now able to find friends who are in your contacts as well as they can find you. This is an easy way to instantly add the people you know, but it can be dangerous adding your phone number places and you don't know what they might do with it. Unfortunately for Facebook users, something went wrong with this feature.      A cloud server that contained a database of all Facebook users phone numbers had been found online. Thankfully, a few days later is was taken down. The discovery of the leaked information was an example of how an unprotected database leaves consumers exposed. It is much easier to create these databases online but the problem is that it isn't very secure. By doing so, you are putting your users at risk and their information being posted without permission.      If you are not aware, the First Amendment to the United States Constitution is part of the United States Bill of Rights which protects freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press and right to petition. The First Amendment is very important and protects us from many different situations. Freedom of religion allows people to believe in whatever religion they want. Freedom of speech as well as press allows people to voice their opinions and publish them publicly without the government having a say. Freedom of assembly allows us to gather together in groups if everyone is peaceful. Right to petition allows for people to point out the governments mistakes and sue if any wrongs have occurred.      I found an article which speaks on how Trump breaks the First Amendment.
